my retreat and course spaces are about

COMMUNITY

It's time to let go of having to do it all alone.  I provide spaces for you to deepen into your own wisdom through practices of somatic therapy and embodied enquiry AND to come into the healing power of authentic community.

From this place we can learn to embrace deep self acceptance, the beautiful wisdom of others (we are all part of the whole) and compassion.

My hope is that this will create circular thriving communities and appreciation for our lives and LIFE itself.

whakatauki (maori proverb)

He aha te mea nui o te ao

what is the most important thing in the world

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata

it is people, it is people, it is people

One Day of Pleasure Retreat

21-22 April 2024
Kauaeranga Valley - Thames

An embodied journey through the senses, through connection, though deeply slowing down so that we can experience ways to feel pleasure deep within the cells of our body

befriending your body

If you are feeling separated from yourself, if you are continuously struggling with anxiety, overwhelm and the inability to feel safe, rested and connected this is our invitation to you.

Robyn James (ACC Counsellor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) and Jody Brown (Trauma Informed Yoga/Movement teacher) have created a 9 week Befriending Your Body (trauma education, yoga & movement) course especially for you.

The purpose of this journey is to support you to re-establish safety and connection through your body.

Using the tools of yoga, sensing awareness, self soothing and trauma and nervous system education with the intention to help you restore your own felt sense of safety, presence and connection with yourself and others.

Begins Thursday 8th February 2024
